Hi, I'm Sheridan.

I am a licensed professional counselor. But more than that I am a feeler of feelings, a recovering perfectionist, an armchair philosopher, and an amateur baker.

I am passionate about seeing people settle into themselves, creating space for them to breath deeply, look inwardly, and engage in the beauty of becoming the truest version of themselves.

my approach

There are two things I hold close in my approach to counseling:

1)  every human holds innate beauty and brilliance

2)  we are created for relationship- to find connection and healing

With this, it is an honor to witness my clients' experience, support them as they discover their strength, and to watch them step into the fullness of who they are.

I approach counseling with gentleness, curiosity, and authenticity. With a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I have experience providing mental health services to children and families experiencing homelessness, creating mental health and personal development curriculum for college students, and providing counseling to children, teens, and adults in a variety of formats.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, relational, and deeply informed by the nervous system. I believe the body carries wisdom about our needs, our boundaries, and our emotional truths, which is why I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training to better support clients through embodied healing. I am EMDR-trained and weave it into the work as appropriate, helping you process your experiences, regulate your system, and create new pathways toward safety and possibility.
