play therapy

What is it?

Play therapy helps children explore, express, and safely experience the difficulties they are working through using their natural language-- play! It allows the therapist to meet the child at their level, helping with cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges. As children learn how to regulate their emotions and navigate big feelings.

You may be feeling overwhelmed by your child's behaviors and like you aren't able to connect with them how you would like. The goal of play therapy is to help the child communicate the emotions that are underneath their behaviors. Play therapy can give children the skills, tools, and resources to support them throughout their life. We offer play therapy for kids ages 3-12. Play therapy can be helpful for kids experiencing: anxiety, difficult behaviors, hyperactivity, temper tantrums, grief, trauma, and transitions.

Play therapy sessions are $120 for a 45-minute long session and a 15-minute weekly parent check-in to provide coaching and support!
